Web Manager
Position Location: Columbia, MD
The Web Manager will focus on managing the day-to-day web site tasks, as well as analyzing web activity and online lead generation. This is a full-time position located in a Columbia, Maryland office location. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 - 6 years of Web Marketing experience. B-to-B experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business are preferred. Master's degree a plus. Candidate must be able to work well with other organizations, have excellent organizational and analytical skills and be an effective communicator. This position requires the ability to have strong writing skills, make good judgment calls and a degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Creative and motivated candidates with strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are encouraged to apply. Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in planning, positioning and maximizing SEO and pay-per-click efforts

We’re looking for candidates with excellent sales experience along with the ability and confidence to prospect and penetrate medium and large B2B accounts. You must possess a desire to succeed with a track record that consistently reaches or exceeds sales targets.
You will contact managers and executives for small and large service organizations, analyzing prospects’ business needs, developing personalized solutions, presenting and gaining agreement on the company’s Return on Investment (ROI) and effectively handling objections.
Required Skills & Experience:
- College Degree B.A. preferred
- Minimum 2 years B2B sales experience, with selling to the service industry a plus

Sales Manager

In this management role, you will assist with meeting and exceeding established sales targets. Vericom needs leaders in sales, training, and management preferably with fleet management industry experience. Responsibilities include leading, hiring, training and managing sales teams to achieve sales targets.
The Sales Manager will provide day-to-day support for all sales cycle-related functions including: developing creative sales opportunities, proposal and presentation preparation, account relationship maintenance and ensuring overall sales activity. Serving as the primary information source on all company products, the Sales Manager must also be aware of all aspects of competitive products and activities, including competitive promotions and pricing. Application and Infrastructure Support Engineer
Position Location: Sacramento, CA
Vericom Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Application and Infrastructure Support Engineer. This individual will take the primary role in maintaining our West Coast data center and our Advanced Vehicle Location applications. Most daily work will be done from the employee’s home, with occasional trips to our Sacramento data center for on-site maintenance and system upgrades. Some pre-planned after-hours work will be required, and this individual will likely share night/weekend support duties with others. The ability to make occasional trips to the East Coast would be helpful, but is not required. The ideal candidate will work independently, with minimal oversight by management. He or she will write clear (internal-use) documentation, will create Run Books, and will plan all major changes in advance, submitting such plans to management for pre-approval.

Quality Assurance Engineer
Position Location: Columbia, MD or Central NJ
Vericom Technologies, Inc. is seeking two (2) experienced Quality Assurance Engineers to support our development of cutting-edge Advanced Vehicle Location applications. We would prefer that these employees work either out of our Columbia, MD office or our Central NJ office – but telecommuting would be an option for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will work independently, with minimal oversight by management. He or she will write clear (internal-use) test plans, develop testing procedures for both new and pre-existing applications, create and execute manual and automated tests, including use-tests, and document test results, working closely with both the development team and the product managers.
Required Skills & Experience:
